Wing partners with German officials to discuss noise

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Allan Turk II, 52nd Operations Support Squadron control tower chief controller, briefs local German mayors and town council members Oct. 4 on 52nd Fighter Wing flying operations. Wing leadership partnered with the local officials to strengthen community relations and discuss the noise burden over nearby villages. The group learned firsthand how and why the wing trains to provide combat power to the current fight while minimizing the effect of training on the local community.
