EOD shares counter-IED operations with Hungarian army
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Hungarian army Sgt. Agnes Pinter, Hungarian Defense Force NCO Academy counter IED instructor, views the screen of a Remotec HD-2 remote control military robot at the 52nd Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal shop Dec. 4, 2012. Hungarian army members visited Spangdahlem Air Base to join forces in teaching information on the most current threats in contingency operations across the globe. The HD-2 is a more versatile and digitally advanced robot than its predecessor. It includes an improved camera mounted on the robot and an all-in-one control with monitoring system that displays clearer quality images.
