Propulsion keeps engines roaring

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Justin Schad, 52nd Component Maintenance Squadron aeropspace propulsion technician from Springfield, Ill., tightens the bolts on an F-16 Fighting Falcon engine manifold near the flightline Jan. 22, 2013. The scheduled maintenance for an F-16 engine is after aproximately 4,000 total accumulated cycles(TAC), which is a calculation of RPM and throttle usage.
