New fuel system saves time, money

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- An AIM2 on-board diagnostics component is shown before installment Feb. 20, 2013. Spangdahlem is the first U.S. Air Forces in Europe base to install the automotive information module and its components on all its general purpose government vehicles. This module uses radio frequency to read and record real-time maintenance and odometer data, which tacks fuel consumption and needed repairs.
