Ammo distributes DoD storage containers
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Zachary Zeman, 52nd Equipment Maintenance Squadron munitions storage crew chief from Lone Tree, Iowa, gives direction to U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Dillon Meredith, 52nd EMS storage crew chief from Green Bare, Calif., while operating an all-terrain forklift to move intermodal shipping containers near the ammunition bomb dump March 19, 2013. The vehicle is capable of lifting and carrying 10,000 pounds safely. Airmen from the 52nd EMS are assisting in the transportation of the ISOs to Miesau Army Depot as part of a Major Command directed munitions movement plan.
