Life in combat training
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Steven Silvis, 606th Air Control Squadron electrical power production journeyman from Aberdeen, Wash., holds his weapon at low ready during a combat readiness training course April 17, 2013. Scenarios were tailored to help Airmen learn how to react appropriately when faced with real-world problems. Scenarios included anything from talking to friendly locals to hostile mortar attacks.
