Life in combat training
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Tyler O’Mally, 606th Air Control Squadron vehicular maintenance technician from Huston, provides over watch for U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Travis Butler, 606th ACS NCO in charge of vehicle management from Payton, Utah, while he searches the body of an opposing forces member for any weapons during a combat readiness training course April 19, 2013. Providing over watch is essential to keeping wingmen safe and allows the partner to focus on completing a task — in this case, a search. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kyle Gese/Released)
