Community bonds take root through flower project

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Isabella Madamba, a junior at Bitburg High School from Lakenheath, England, volunteers to help plants flowers around Spangdahlem AB May 18, 2013. Due to budget cuts and fiscal constraints, students from Bitburg High School’s National Honor Society worked with the base’s private organizations to obtain funding for new flowers.
