Spangdahlem women have Hearts for Elim
LWOWEK SLASKI, Poland – Dr. Tricia Bogaard, an optometrist from Spangdahlem Air Base, examines a patient, preparing to look under the eyelid. The Hearts for Elim medical missions trip team also included a medical provider and other women with medical experience that helped run a temporary clinic and pharmacy full of donated items for those in need of free medical care. 22 women total from Spangdahlem, Ramstein and Sweinfurt, collectively known as "Hearts for Elim," went to Poland with a mission to provide medical service as well as to donate their time and effort to serve the Elim Christian Center and the people of the local community.
