The ancient Roman city of Trier is becoming the site for a spectacular holiday event, the 8th annual Trier Christmas Circus, which takes place Dec. 18-30 at the city's Moselauen fairgrounds, located at In den Moselauen 1, 54293 Trier.

Show times are 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., except for Dec. 18, the day of the debut. The debut takes place 7:30 p.m. On Dec. 30, there are shows at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. There are no shows Dec. 24. It is recommended that people show up at least 45 minutes early in order to find parking, purchase tickets and locate seats in time for the opening act. Shows are about two hours, 30 minutes long.

The circus offers acrobatic acts, animal shows and clownery. Santa Claus will be there to celebrate with attendees at a holiday party following the debut show.

Sabers are encouraged to catch the show Dec. 18 as a separate decorated festival tent will be set up for the debut. The tent includes food, beverages and holiday entertainment. Free snacks will also be available for invited guests after the show. Snacks and beverages can also be purchased prior to shows and during intermissions.

People can reserve tickets, which typically sell fast, at info@smile-show.de or 0172-830-5699.

Ticket prices range between 15 -35 Euro per person depending on the category of seats and if the tickets are purchased at the door prior to the performance. Sabers receive three tickets for the price of two when presenting a valid military ID card at the door. This offer is not valid for the debut or family show.
