2013 52nd FW annual awards winners announced

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Eleven Sabers earned their respective titles as the 52nd Fighter Wing's "Best of 2013" during the annual awards banquet at the Skelton Memorial Fitness Center Feb. 8.

The ceremony, themed "Honoring our Saber Elite through the Winds of Change," recognized all nominees for their work within their respective groups and wing staff agencies last year.

Nominees received recognition from 52nd FW leadership before more than 1,500 fellow Saber Airmen during a pep rally-style medallion ceremony at Hangar 1 Feb. 7.
