The spouses of U.S. Airmen assigned to the 480th Fighter Generation Squadron attended an immersion intended to provide insight about the daily work of their spouses at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, Nov. 21, 2025. The immersion began with transportation to a hardened aircraft shelter, where spouses watched a launch take place, before being taken to another aircraft to receive a more in-depth tour, where Airmen from each of the different maintenance jobs within the squadron explained their responsibilities and daily work. Spouses were welcomed to ask questions and walk around the aircraft, before being taken to a post-launch briefing to learn more about the administrative aspects and structure of the FGS.
