Top Saber Performer for the week of Oct. 5 - 11 Published Oct. 5, 2007 SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Tech. Sgt. Brenda Fleming, 52nd Fighter Wing Military Equal Opportunity NCOIC, has been named the 52nd Fighter Wing's Top Saber Performer for the week of Oct. 5 - 11. Name: Tech. Sgt. Brenda Fleming Unit: 52nd Fighter Wing Duty title: NCOIC, Military Equal Opportunity Hometown: Columbus, Ohio Years in service: 15 years Why joined: I joined for the educational and traveling benefits and an opportunity to be seen as a positive influence on others. Family: My son Edmond Hobbies: I enjoy writing poetry, painting and drawing. I also like braiding hair. Favorite aspect of job: My favorite aspect of my job is having the opportunity to assist people with real issues and even when their concerns do not fall within my office, I still have the opportunity to hopefully send them in the right direction to get the assistance they need. Bottomline, I like helping others. Most memorable Air Force experience: I think being a former Air Force military training instructor is the most memorable. To this day, I still have some of my basic training Airmen contact me; and when I see that they have grown and matured to be NCOs themselves it makes me proud to see they have adhered to the professional attitude and sense of integrity that I instilled within. They remind me that my service has been worthwhile and appreciated. For that, I am truly grateful.
