Years in Service: One year and eight months Why joined: I joined because the military has always been a part of my family's life; my father served and so did all of my siblings. It was a great opportunity to get a head start on life with a career that offered so many benefits, and it is a great way to travel the world. Family: My father and mother Bob and Maxine live in Meadville, Pa. My dad is currently in the Army Reserve, but was in the Air Force for 17 years. I have two brothers, Luke, who is currently stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, and Levi who is stationed at U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden with his wife Julia. I have two sisters as well, Micah lives in Charleston, S.C. with her daughter Isabelle and husband, Joe. My oldest sister, Tab, lives in Maryland with her two sons, Jaiden and Collin, and her husband, Tim. Tab and Tim both served in the Air Force as well. Hobbies: I enjoy working out, snowboarding, surfing, swimming, basketball and pretty much any other kind of outdoor activity. Favorite aspect of job: Having the knowledge that what I do directly affects the Sabers flying mission, and helps make missions possible. Most memorable Air Force experience: My most memorable Air Force experience was My deployment to Kuwait for third country national duty. It gave me a chance to interact with people of different nationalities as well as make lasting friendships with Airmen in many different jobs. How do you make responsible choices: I make responsible choices by taking a step back and giving myself time to think about the possible options I have and the consequences of each decision. I always try to incorporate the Air Force core values into each choice.
