SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- A Spangdahlem Air Base Airman was found unresponsive on the A60 autobahn, near Spangdahlem AB, and declared dead at approximately 2:20 p.m. today.
The identity is being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.
The cause of death is under investigation, and more details will be released as they become available.
