Sabers will be Exploring the Eifel Tuesday through Thursday spending a few days experiencing local culture firsthand while expanding relationships with friends in nearby German communities.

Base members are encouraged to attend Explore the Eifel events they signed up for at the information fair. Those who can not attend an event they sign up for should call the event point of contact ahead of time.

Sabers who still wish to sign up for events from the fair should review the flyers and brochures they collected at the fair for contact information. Fair exhibitors can provide additional information.

Close to 200 Sabers have already signed up for the Explore the Eifel "Discover Spangdahlem" walk July 5 at 9:30 a.m. The mayor of Spangdahlem is looking forward to welcoming base members for a walk through the town, visiting historical spots, indulging a barbecue and refreshments, games and entertainment and horse back riding, hayrides and other attractions. The event is free to Sabers. For more information, call 06565-4130 or 0175-2442954.
