Chief Clarke wishes Sabers farewell Published May 28, 2008 By Chief Master Sgt. Vance Clarke 52nd Fighter Wing command chief master sergeant SPANGDHALEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Team Spangdahlem, What an honor and privilege it has been to serve with all of you as the 52nd Fighter Wing Command Chief. Pam and I could not be prouder than to have served alongside all of you whether community, civilian, military or family members. Thanks for all you do each and every day for our nations. As we head off to San Antonio and our new role at Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service, we go knowing we are better because of all you have shared with us. The operations tempo here has been high and one that could have taken its toll on us. But, because of the support you provided to one another and to us, we have weathered this pace well and are thankful for your accomplishments. You have enriched us with culture, experience, and especially memories of a great team performing better than anyone could ask. As you continue contributing to winning the global war on terror, taking care of one another and our families, and in helping to improve and modernize our great Air Force, we would ask that you continue to remember to take time for yourself, your families, your host nation, and many other friends and family. May God continue to watch over you all as you do your countries! Chief Master Sgt. Vance and Pam Clarke
