For more than three hours, a line of roughly 500 people anxiously awaited four World Wrestling Entertainment stars. WWE Divas Michelle and Maria, Extreme Championship Wrestling Superstar Matt Hardy and SmackDown Superstar the Undertaker signed everything from magazines to folding chairs at the Brick House Nov. 8.

Spangdahlem Air Base was included in the list of spots the stars would visit to show their dedication to servicemembers and help improve morale. They went on to Luxembourg City later that evening, providing European fans a taste of the Survivor Series tour.

Michelle sported her Diva Championship belt and showed it off to members of the crowd. Mara Wight, 52nd Fighter Wing commander Col. Tip Wight's wife, noted the belt was heavier than it looked while talking to Michelle.

The WWE stars positioned themselves at the autograph tables and watched as the curtains were drawn and the crowd erupted with applause.

Staff Sgt. Michael Diaz, 52nd Component Maintenance Squadron, his wife Vivianna and their two children Michael Jr. and Ariana were in line to see the stars, and also had plans to attend the wrestling match scheduled later that evening in Luxembourg.

"I've got two words for you ..." said Michael Jr., quoting one of his favorite slogans. Michael Jr. has been a wrestling fan for five years and was very excited to meet some of his idols.

"This is awesome!" he said.

"The Undertaker is the best!" said Cassie Lunsford, daughter of Tech. Sgt. David Lunsford, 726th Air Mobility Squadron. The larger-than-life man portrayed in the ring as a six-foot ten-inch lord of darkness was signing autographs with his signature scowl.

The visit to Spangdahlem Air Base will be broadcast on national television on NBC at 9 p.m., Dec. 20. It will also be aired on the American Forces Network worldwide.
