52nd MDG to extend clinic hours Published Jan. 19, 2010 52nd Medical Group SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- In order to better meet the health care needs of the 52nd Fighter Wing, the 52nd Medical Group will extend its primary care clinic hours at the Spangdahlem medical clinic until 7 p.m. Monday - Friday and 8-11 a.m. Saturdays beginning Jan. 19. Appointments from 4-7 p.m. Monday - Friday and appointments Saturday will be for acute medical concerns only. All patient visits are by appointment only. To schedule your next appointment, call the Access to Care line at DSN 452-8333. To meet urgent medical needs on Sundays, federal holidays, goal days and family days, the following resources are available: - Emergency care at local emergency rooms in Bitburg, Wittlich and Trier - Nurse Advice Line at DSN 452-8333, option three, or call 00800-4759-2330 to speak with a nurse 24 hours a day - Online resources, to include booking medical appointments, at www.tricareonline.com The 52nd MDG is dedicated to providing quality health care services for eligible beneficiaries. In addition to on-base care, the wing is fortunate to have an excellent relationship with the German health care network. In the event of a medical emergency requiring a downtown emergency room visit, or a referral to one of our network providers, the 52nd MDG has provided patient liaison officers at all major local hospitals to assist patients with any language concerns and to facilitate the overall health care experience.
