The Club Eifel Ballroom will be closed for renovations from Dec. 23 to approximately May 1.

These renovations will enable Club Eifel to accommodate up to five parties at one time in the ballroom, which hasn't been possible since 2009 because of needed repairs. In order to accommodate people since then, the club has catered parties in alternate locations like the enlisted and officers lounges when the ballroom was already booked, said Kevin Hacker, Club Eifel assistant manager.

The new renovations give Club Eifel the option to put different groups being catered into different rooms in a central location, Hacker said.

"This will make for a more professional environment and give us more room for other projects," he added.

The ability to host multiple parties in this room will free up other rooms like the enlisted and officers lounges for more possibilities, Hacker said.

While the ballroom will be shutdown during this period, people can still contact Club Eifel to set up events in alternate locations. To schedule an event or for more information, call Club Eifel at DSN 452-4642 or 06565-61-4642.
