RUFit Mental Fitness

Mental Health
The Mental Health Clinic offers a variety of services from prevention/skill training to crisis management. Our preference is to help people resolve problems before they become so severe or disruptive as to cause a negative impact on an individual's health, family, career, or organization's mission.

A full-service outpatient center provides assessment and treatment of psychological problems primarily for active duty members and ADFMs enrolled to the 52MDG. Services include counseling, psychiatric medication management, consultation with leadership, and community outreach.

Airman & Family Readiness Center
The Airman & Family Readiness Center's primary focus is to support readiness by helping families and single Airmen adapt to the demands of Air Force life and to assist commanders in responding to identified concerns and issues. The center designs, develops and conducts quality of life programs according to base and community needs and capabilities through the Unit Service Strategy. The Unit Service Strategy works to plan, implement and evaluate services at the unit level through face-to-face interactions and partnerships with leadership. Building 307.

Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS)

Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) provides services to support families of children developmental delays, disabilities, or special learning needs. It delivers Early Intervention Services (EIS) to eligible infants and toddlers and their families in domestic and overseas areas.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT)

The Spangdahlem Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT) clinic promotes wellness through providing evidence-based prevention, assessment, and treatment for both active duty members and adult civilians experiencing substance-related problems. Patients are either self-referred or referred by a concerned Commander or medical provider. The ADAPT Clinic offers outreach services upon request, as well as on-site assessment and Level One (Outpatient) treatment, which can include referral and coordination with other helping agencies. For those assessed and determined to require a higher level of care, the ADAPT clinic facilitates referrals to outside agencies and provides aftercare upon completion.

Finance Services
The 52nd Comptroller Squadron Finance Office provides pay and entitlements support to military and civilian employees. Walk-in customer service hours are from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday - Friday. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call DSN 314-452-6730 or email 52cpts.fmfc@us.af.mil.


Family Advocacy

Family Advocacy is the primary office for the support of education, prevention and treatment of family maltreatment involving active duty members and their families. Outreach services include new parents support program, prenatal and pregnancy classes, anger management, parenting class, marital therapy and therapy for abuse cases, victim and witness assistance program, crisis counseling and referral resources.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are appreciated in our community and are celebrated throughout the year. Because of the limited employment opportunities, volunteering may be a great option for spouses or family members to become acquainted and involved with the community. Volunteering will also help you learn new skills, maintain skills that you already posses, and gain work experience while waiting for the job offer.

The Red Cross provides Emergency Communication Messages, Health and Safety Classes, and volunteer opportunities. Volunteer positions for the Red Cross include placements in the Medical Group such as RN, medical administration, X-Ray technician, and the pharmacy. Additional volunteer opportunities include the Library, Post Office and tutor/mentor with the on-base schools. F-16 FIGHTING FALCON

   The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations.
