52nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs Studio

Background/Justification
Studio photography is by appointment only and available for: official portraits as required by AFI, applications for special duty assignments, and Air Force level award packages that require photos; Chain-of-command boards/bios for leadership squadron level and above (commander, deputy/vice commander, senior enlisted leader and first sergeant); and quarterly (Wing)/annual (Group and above) award winners (includes Wing Staff Agencies).

Electronic copies will be provided to the requestor via email. Printed, hard-copy photos are not provided.

A changing room is provided to members who wish to wear uniform of the day to the appointment and change into the required uniform on-site.

HEAD AND SHOULDERS
These photos are the typical “biography” and wall photos, and they are the most common portrait taken for service members. These photos are scheduled for all day on Mondays and only in the mornings on Thursdays.

Members are usually required to wear only the top half of the service uniform (i.e. blues service coat with all accoutrements, blues shirt, and tie/tie tab.

FULL-LENGTH
These photos consist of a head-to-toe photo with a seamless white background and are generally reserved for members who are submitting special duty packages.

Base history

   Spangdahlem AB and the 52nd Fighter Wing have a rich history. The wing has seen many people and aircraft come and go throughout the years, but one thing remains the same. The 52nd has always been prepared to SEEK ATTACK DESTROY.

F-16 FIGHTING FALCON

   The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations.
