Chief Master Sergeant MICHAEL A. CLARK

Chief Master Sergeant Clark serves as the Command Chief, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. As the wing’s Senior Enlisted Leader, he is the primary advisor to the commander on all matters concerning operations, health, morale, welfare, readiness, training, quality of life, professional development, and utilization of more than 5,000 military and civilian personnel, as well as their families. His leadership is essential to the appropriate maintenance, employment, and deployment of F16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and $6 billion in assets used in the support of United States and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) missions. He also provides senior enlisted oversight for the wing’s multiple geographically separated units located across Europe. The 52nd Fighter Wing supports the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe with mission-ready personnel and systems providing expeditionary air power for the suppression of enemy air defenses, counter-air, air interdiction, and close-air support. Chief Clark entered the Air Force in January 2002 and graduated from the Aircraft Armament Systems Apprentice course in July 2002, where he earned Distinguished Graduate. He has held a variety of maintenance positions supporting A-10, HH-60, F-15, F-16, F-22, and MQ-9 weapons systems. Prior to his current position, Chief Clark served as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 51st Maintenance Group, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
