8/24/2011 - Niederkail, a town close to the base, will host its 800th anniversary festival Sept. 10-11 in the center of town. A tent will be set up in the market square, the heart of the community as shown in the photo. The U.S. Air Forces in Europe band Touch ‘n Go will perform a German-American friendship concert Sept. 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the tent.
