1/6/2011 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- In a recent letter addressed to the members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community, the KMC commander, Lt. Gen. Frank Gorenc, declared Black Sounds Club, or Club Sounds, off-limits to members of the community for 45 days beginning Dec. 29.

Entering and/or conducting business in this establishment is strictly prohibited except as required in the performance of official duties, the letter stated, and disobeying orders are grounds for punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice and other directives.

Col. Christopher Weggeman, 52nd Fighter Wing, reiterated this message to Sabers, emphasizing that this order also applies to all under the 52nd FW.

The off-limits order will hold for the entire 45 days unless rescinded at an earlier date.
