6/25/2010 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – A NATO inspector, left, explains the individual core competency skills assessment to Brig. Gen. Wily Cosijn, center, Belgium air force deputy chief of staff, and Col. Tip Wight, 52nd Fighter Wing commander, here June 25. The ICCS assessments are one portion of the NATO force evaluation Spangdahlem has participated in this week. These skills are critical assets military members need to proficiently conduct contingency operations that may require crisis intervention, such as deployments or NATO missions. Representatives of the NATO countries want to gain insight to aid in upcoming inspections and daily processes. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Heather M. Norris)
