Medical Exercise

A medical Airman uses a syringe to extract a flu vaccine for an injection during a medical exercise Oct. 16, 2013. The exercise tested the wing’s capability to service the base population in the event of a disease threat or outbreak as efficiently as possible as well as issuing real-world flu vaccinations to the active-duty and dependent or beneficiary civilian populations.
