TRS showcases capabilities to 2nd AF leadership

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Airmen assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron learn about A-10 Thunderbolt II manual canopy release methods while Chief Master Sgt. Oscar Mackin, 2nd Air Force command chief, and Maj. Gen. Leonard Patrick, 2nd AF commander, observe the training course during a tour of 372nd Training Squadron Detachment 2 classrooms and training facilities inside Bldg. 43 here April 18. Patrick and Mackin visited the 372nd TRS Det 2 during their 2nd AF overseas units tour. The detachment offers advanced skills using classroom and hands-on training on the F-16 Fighting Falcon and A-10 Thunderbolt II for more than eight different aircraft maintenance career fields.
