Scott Wilson 52nd Mission Support Group Commander and Command Chief SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- During the holidays, we find time to rejoice in our blessings and reconnect with loved ones. Freedom isn't free; and many of you dedicate your lives to ensure every American, and indeed many of our friends and allies, realize the fruits of freedom and justice. There is no greater blessing we can share than that of peace. Thank you all for the dedication and professionalism we see shining in each of you every day -- from the daily routine of consistent mission support to one of the busiest wings in U.S. Air Forces in Europe, from the "Excellent" rating for the Unit Compliance Inspection, to exercises and countless deployments in distant and dangerous places. We are truly honored to serve beside you and hope you find respite within the joyful glow of family and friends this season to reflect on your success and what it means to be an American Airman. For the hundreds currently deployed, we're in awe of your courage and humbled by your professionalism. While we know it's difficult to be away from loved ones, know the sacrifices you make do not go unnoticed. We all look forward to your safe return. Again, thank you!
