The American Forces Network is debuting award-winning and critically acclaimed Amazon Original Series television shows this week for overseas military personnel and their families.

"Amazon Studios premium programming tops off AFN's Showcase of American Television.  They join the biggest and most powerful producers in television in supporting the troops and their families serving our nation around the world. Amazon Studios most popular originals will be featured on AFN and appreciated by a most-deserving audience," said AFN's Director of Television programming, Larry Marotta.

AFN-Spectrum Late Night debuts four Amazon television series this week:  Transparent, Bosch, Alpha House and The Man in the High Castle

Transparent is a story about a family patriarch's dramatic admission.  Family secrets start to spill out, and each of them spin in a different direction as they begin to figure out who they are going to become. It stars Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, and Gaby Hoffman.  Transparent airs Mondays at 11 p.m. Japan/Korea Time (JKT) and Central European Time (CET) on AFN|spectrum.

Bosch is based on Michael Connelly's best-selling novels. Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), an LAPD homicide detective, stands trial for the fatal shooting of a serial murder suspect ... just as a cold case forces Bosch to confront his past. The show also stars Annie Wersching.  Bosch airs Tuesdays at 11 p.m. JKT/CET on AFN|spectrum.

Alpha House is a creation of Garry Trudeau (Doonesbury).  The show follows four senators who live together in a rented house in Washington DC and stars John Goodman, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson and Matt Malloy.  Alpha House airs Wednesdays at 11 p.m. JKT/CET on AFN|spectrum.

The Man in the High Castle is based on Philip K. Dick's award-winning novel. It explores what it would be like if the Allied Powers had lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the United States. The show stars Rufus Sewell, Luke Kleintank and Alexa Davalos.  The Man in the High Castle airs Sundays, beginning Jan. 17 at 11 p.m. CET/JKT on AFN|spectrum.

Amazon is providing the shows gratis for American military personnel and their families serving overseas through AFN.  AFN airs news, sports, entertainment and command information for American service members, DoD civilians and their families stationed overseas, as well as those serving aboard U.S. Navy ships at sea.
