SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, GERMANY -- Staff Sgt. Joe Canteen Jr., a 52nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron medical service technician, has been named the 52nd Fighter Wing's Top Saber Performer for the Week of June 22 - 28, 2007.

Hobbies: I enjoy all sports, working out at the gym and participating in local weight lifting events. I have also enjoyed the travel here in Europe.
What do you like most about being stationed here? The small base gives me a sense of family closeness even though my family is far away. Being stationed here has also given me wonderful travel opportunities.
What's one thing you'd like to see changed or improved at Spangdahlem Air Base? I would like to see more school sports and activities for middle and high school students.
