Once again, Sabers will be given an opportunity to get out of the office July 3-6, to experience the incredible sights and culture of the local communities and the neighboring country, Luxembourg. This event provides Sabers a great opportunity to get involved and expand their relationships with nearby German communities.

The Eifel information fair is June 27, 9 a. m.-5 p.m, at the Fitness center on Spangdahlem. This will give 52nd Fighter Wing Airmen and their families a chance to meet with about 50 representatives, who will provide information about the Eifel area. Luxembourg and tourist agencies will have special package deals for base members and present the deals at the fair.

Explore the Eifel is a commander sanctioned event where everyone is encouraged to explore the Eifel and surrounding areas. The intent of this event is for Airmen to learn about the local culture, as well as enjoying time with German friends and neighbors. Everyone is invited to bring their families out to the information fair and sign up for events and enjoy the scenic host nation to the fullest. Don't be one of those people who never get off base and don't travel; take advantage and get family and friends out and experience Germany. Before you know it, your time in the Eifel region will be gone. What travel stories will you have to tell?
