During May, the following five Spangdahlem Airmen received non-judicial punishment under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice:

- A staff sergeant assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was reduced to the grade of senior airman; given 31 days extra duty, 16 days of which were suspended; and received a reprimand for violations of Article 92, dereliction of duty; Article 107, false official statement; and Article 134, fleeing the scene of an accident.

- A senior airman assigned to the 52nd Security Forces Squadron received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman first class, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand for violations of Article 107, false official statement; Article 128, assault; and Article 134, drunk and disorderly conduct.

- A senior airman assigned to the 702nd Munitions Support Squadron received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman first class, forfeiture of $531 pay per month for two months, and a reprimand for violations of Article 107, false official statement.

-A senior airman assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a reduction to airman basic, with reduction below airman first class suspended, 45 days extra duty; and a reprimand for a violation of Article 111, drunken operation of a vehicle.

- An airman first class assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a suspended reduction to the grade of airman; 20 days extra duty, and a reprimand for violations of Article 86, failure to go; and Article 134, incapacitation for the performance of duties.

Also during May, the following five Spangdahlem Airmen were involuntarily discharged for cause in accordance with Air Force Instruction 36-3208, Administration Separation of Airmen:

- An airman basic assigned to the 52nd Communications Squadron was administratively discharged with a General-service characterization for conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. Those infractions included mail theft, being late for work on numerous occasions, failing to pay debt and being disrespectful toward superiors.

- An airman basic assigned to the 52nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was administratively discharged with a General-service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions consisting of being disrespectful toward superiors and assault.

- An airman basic assigned to the 52nd Logistics Readiness Squadron was administratively discharged with a General-service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions to include failing the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment program, being disrespectful toward superiors, failing to comply with standards, being late for work on numerous occasions and driving drunk were among the Airman's infractions.

- An airman basic assigned to the 52nd Equipment Maintenance Squadron was administratively discharged with a General-service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions. Those infractions entailed being late for work on numerous occasions, being unfit for duty due to previous overindulgence, and drinking within eight hours of the beginning of the duty day.

- An airman assigned to the 702nd Munitions Support Squadron was administratively discharged with a General-service characterization for minor disciplinary infractions. The Airman's infractions were failing to go to appointed place of duty at the time prescribed, failing to pay debt, failing to comply with standards and failing to turn in mandatory paperwork.
