Halloween Events

The following are scheduled Halloween events for Spangdahlem Air Base and Bitburg Annex: 

- Oct. 29: There will be a Children's Costume Party 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Club Eifel. The event is free for members' children. The cost is $6.95 for adult members, $3.95 for non-members' children and $7.95 for adult non-members. There will be games, food and prizes. - Oct. 30: The Eifel Lanes Bowling Center is hosting a Halloween Dress-A-Pin contest. The cost is $2 for one pin or $5 for three. Dress your pin in a Halloween theme and win prizes. Pick up pins now and drop them off by Oct. 27 to be judged. For more information, stop by the bowling center or call DSN 452-6217. 

- Oct 31: The Bitburg Teen/Youth Center will host a Halloween Lock-In for children ages 9-14 and 15-18 at the center in building 58. The festivities start at 8 p.m. and finish at 8 a.m. the next day. The cost is $20 for club members and $25 for non-members. Festivities include a costume contest, caramel apple making, mummy wraps and much more. Children must be signed up by Oct. 23. - Oct 31: The Spangdahlem and Bitburg Youth Centers will be handing out candy from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you and your children are planning on trick-or-treating in housing on Halloween, make sure to stop by for extra treats. 

- Oct. 31: The Eifel Lanes Bowling Center will have Halloween glow bowling 5 p.m. until close. Costumes are encouraged for the event. Attendees can bowl for $1.50 a game. For more information, call the bowling center at DSN 452-6217. 

- Oct. 31: The Brick House is hosting a Star Wars Convention 1 - 7 p.m. Families are welcome at the free event, open to all Department of Defense ID cardholders. The event will include memorabilia, movies and entertainment. For more information, call Andrew Rice or Teresa Madison at DSN 452-7260. 

- Oct. 31: There will be a Halloween Party at the Brick House 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Sept. 1. The event is open to all Department of Defense ID cardholders and authorized personnel. For more information, call Andrew Rice or Teresa Madison at DSN 452-7260. 

- Oct. 31: There will be an adults-only costume party 8 p.m. at Club Eifel. The event is free for members and costs $5 for non-members. Costume judging starts at 10 p.m. For more information, call Billie Jo Mueller at DSN 452-4633. 

- Oct. 31: There will be a Halloween Party at Frankenstein Castle Oct. 31 through the Information, Tickets and Travel Office. The cost is 59 euro per person. Transportation departs Bitburg Annex at 3 p.m. and Spangdahlem at 3:30 p.m. For more information, call ITT at DSN 452-6567. 

- Nov. 1: There will be a Halloween Family Day at Frankenstein Castle through the Information, Tickets and Travel Office. The cost is 46 euro for adults, 42 euro for youth 8-14 years old, and 38 euro for children 7 years old and younger. Transportation departs Bitburg annex at 10:30 a.m. and Spangdahlem at 11 a.m. For more information, call ITT at DSN 452-6567.
