The Eifel Arms Inn here at Spangdahlem Air Base was announced as the 2017 Small Category Air Force Innkeeper Award winner.

The award program was established in 1981 to recognize lodging operations from around the Air Force with the highest standards in categories such as customer service, housekeeping, financial status, management and related support activities.

“I have such an outstanding team,” said Emily Day, 52nd Force Support Squadron General Manager of the Eifel Arms Inn. “I could not be more proud of the hard work and dedication they show each and every day. What sets The Eifel Arms Inn apart from any other Air Force Inn is our customer service.  We operate at a very high pace but always puts our guests first.”

This is the fifth time the inn has been the recipient of the award, last winning in 2012.

“Eifel Arms has proven time and time again to be a top-notch lodging facility,” said Col. Jason Bailey, 52nd Fighter Wing commander. “I am extremely proud of everyone in the services organization for their exemplary performance to bring this award back to Spangdahlem.”
