Ready for anything: Explosive Threat Contained
U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 52nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squadron, utilize a Man Transportable Robotic System for a simulated explosive device during Exercise Swift Saber 25 at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, April 25, 2025. EOD capabilities were tested by various scenarios like simulated explosive devices and chemical attacks, allowing them to perfect their procedures for real world operations. Exercises like Swift Saber 25 strengthen the 52nd Fighter Wing’s warfighting capabilities by validating ACE concepts such as rapid threat response, dispersed operations, and mission generation in contested environments.
