Ready for anything: Explosive Threat Contained

A simulated explosive device is found during Exercise Swift Saber 25 at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, April 23, 2025. Airmen from across the wing demonstrated their ability to detect, respond to, and recover from simulated CBRN incidents, explosive attacks, and drone incursions throughout the combat readiness exercise. Exercises like Swift Saber 25 strengthen the 52nd Fighter Wing’s warfighting capabilities by validating ACE concepts such as rapid threat response, dispersed operations, and mission generation in contested environments.
