Ready for anything: Defenders Neutralize Threats

Defenders assigned to the 52nd Security Forces Squadron detain a simulated malicious actor during an insider threat scenario involving an F-16 Fighting Falcon as part of Exercise Swift Saber 25 at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, April 22, 2025. The scenario validated the defenders’ ability to respond to insider threats and minimize their impact on 52nd Fighter Wing assets. Exercises like Swift Saber 25 strengthen the 52nd FW’s warfighting capabilities by validating Agile Combat Employment concepts, including rapid threat response, dispersed operations and mission generation in contested environments.
