Ready for anything: Defenders Neutralize Threats
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Caden Veguilla, 52nd Security Forces Squadron defender, responds to a simulated threat during Exercise Swift Saber 25 at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, April 22, 2025. The scenario validated the defenders’ ability to respond to a simulated threat and secure an entry control point for the installation. Exercises like Swift Saber 25 strengthen the 52nd Fighter Wing’s warfighting capabilities by validating Agile Combat Employment concepts such as rapid threat response, dispersed operations and mission generation in contested environments.
