Spangdahlem AB F-16s participate in large force exercise
An U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 480th Fighter Squadron, lands at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, to participate in a large force exercise within the North Sea airspace, U.K., May 27, 2020. These exercises provide both aircrew and support personnel the experience needed to maintain a ready force, and by integrating multiple aircraft, aircrews are able to train for different objectives, which is critical to ensuring the collective defense of the NATO alliance.
