Manderscheid hosts castle festival

A giant fireworks display over the lower Manderscheid castle tower was part of the annual Manderscheid medieval festival last weekend. The festival also featured an artisan market, several jousting tournaments, medieval concert music, all happening around the two, scenic Manderscheid castles, which are an attraction in the Eifel area, located only 20 minutes away from Spangdahlem Air Base.
