Beating the heat in the Eifel
The “Roman Wine Street Panorama” swimming pool in Leiwen is an attraction in the local area because of its’ unique panorama location. It can be found on a hill outside the wine town of Leiwen, located on a hill, overseeing the Mosel River. The pool offers swimmer’s and non-swimmer’s a toddler’s pool, a 76-meter giant slide, a children’s wide slide and a water fountain. Like most local outdoor pools, the Leiwen facility is open now through the end of September, depending on weather. The town of Leiwen is located about 20 minutes from base.
