Leadership installs Fiber optic cables

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Matthew Grengs, 52nd Fighter Wing command chief master sergeant, looks through a fiber scope at a fiber optic cable Aug. 14, 2013. The fiber scope is used to see any excess epoxy that dries over the fiber optic cable. More than 60 terabits of data can be transferred through a single strand of fiber optic cable before it melts.
