Squadrons return home from deployment

SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Julia Martel hugs her husband, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Joseph Martell, 480th Aircraft Maintenance Unit lead production superintendent from Ocala, Fla., after returning from a deployment Sept. 21, 2013, to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The men and women of the 480th AMU deployed with the specific goal of delivering safe, reliable, airworthy, combat-ready aircraft to provide close air support to friendly ground forces.
