Mosel harvest

A volunteer helper pours a bucket with grapes into a large trailer, Oct. 19, 2013. Recently, a group of about 50 U.S. members from the Ramstein area helped a local vintner harvest grapes in the vineyards of Piesport. The Riesling grape harvest was just recently completed. Local vintners say there will be less quantity in wine this year, but the quality can be compared to last year’s, which was good. (U.S. Air Force photo by Iris Reiff)
