U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas Travis, U.S. Air Force Surgeon General, holds a shaken-baby-simulator doll March 12, 2014, at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. If the doll is shaken, different sections of its brain flash to represent the permanent damage of shaken-baby syndrome.
