Mr. Skelton Visits Spangdahlem Air Base
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany--Mr. Clay Skelton, the son of former 52nd Tactical Fighter Wing Commander Col. Richard E. Skelton places flowers July 25, 2008 at the Spangdahlem Airman's Memorial bearing his father's name. Col. Skelton died from a heart attack during a mission in an F-4 after safely landing his plane. This was the first time since his father's death that Mr. Skelton returned to Spangdahlem. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Logan Tuttle)
