Mr. Skelton Visits Spangdahlem Air Base
SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany—A memorial to fallen Airmen in Spangdahlem's Air Park. Flowers were placed by Mr. Clay Skelton July 25, 2008 in memory of his father, Col. Richard E. Skelton, former 52nd Tactical Fighter Wing Commander. This was Mr. Skelton's first return to Spangdahlem Air Base since his father suffered a heart attack while on a mission in his F-4.
