Maintainers keep Cope Thunder going
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Done for the night, an F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 22nd Fighter Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, sits on the flightline here. Spangdahlem Airmen are part of the 1,000 active duty and Air National Guard Airmen and 87 aircraft taking part in exercise Cope Thunder 06-1, which ends Oct. 21.
