Outdoor Rec tests Sabers caving, rappelling skills
SPANGDAHELM AIR BASE, Germany -- Capt. Jared Ferneau, 52nd Fighter Wing Plans and Programs, rappels into a cave during an Outdoor Recreation daytrip. Capt. Ferneau was one of approximately 25 Sabers who ventured to Luxembourg to crawl through and descend into caves, which were dark enough to require a hardhat light. Upcoming Outdoor Recreation caving and rappelling trips are scheduled for Aug. 9 and Sept. 12. (U.S. Air Force photo by 1st Lt. Kathleen Polesnak)
